It is a mandatory safety element in operating rooms, intensive care units, MRI rooms, pharmaceutical production facilities and biosafety laboratories. It complies with DIN 18100 and ISO 14644 standards.

In which areas is hermetic door mandatory?
According to the Ministry of Health regulations, hermetic doors are mandatory in operating rooms, intensive care, MRI rooms, isolation rooms and clean rooms (ISO 5-8).
Is lead coating mandatory?
Lead coating is only required in radiology, MRI and nuclear medicine rooms. No lead plating is required for standard operating room doors.
Can the door be opened during a power outage?
Yes, uninterruptible power supply and manual opening mechanism are standard. The door can be opened manually with the emergency button.
What is the maintenance period?
It is recommended to check the seal and mechanism every 6 months. As ALLKA, we offer annual maintenance contracts.
